Balay Angkan is an exclusive accommodation that provides a perfect venue for a relaxing stay with a breathtaking beachfront view. This family-owned vacation villa is situated in Felmida Road, Purok 7, Brgy. San Isidro, Cabangan, Zambales, and is approximately a 4 to 5-hour drive from Manila.
The property features a native tropical-inspired home that exudes a clean and calming ambiance with its white and wooden interiors. It can accommodate a large group of 10 to 14 persons, including children, with its airconditioned villas and teepee huts. If necessary, guests can request a tent accommodation.
Balay Angkan has an open pavilion that serves as the main living area and is equipped with complete amenities for cooking and dining. The property also has parking space that can accommodate up to four cars.
Villa Accommodation
Balay Angkan features two beachfront villas. The first villa has a smaller room, perfect for couples or a small group of four individuals. It includes one queen bed, a trundle bed, a toilet and bath, a mini fridge, and a TV with Netflix.
Meanwhile, the second villa can accommodate a larger group of 5-6 persons with two queen beds, one day bed, an extendable table, a toilet and bath, a TV with Netflix, and the option to add one floor mattress. Both villas are air-conditioned.
Teepee Huts
Other members of the group can opt for any of the three teepee huts, which come with one double-size and one single-size floor mattress. Each teepee hut can accommodate up to two persons and is fully air-conditioned.

When checking out of Balay Angkan, you have the option to visit Dapya River, which is less than an hour away. This spot is popular among tourists for its clean and clear water. You can expect to pay an entrance fee of Php20 and rent a cottage for Php300 to Php500.
Things you Need to Know
- From Cubao, take a jeepney/van going to Cogeo Gate 2/Cogeo Public Market
- From Cogeo Gate 2, ride a jeepney going to Brgy. Maysawa and ask the driver to drop you off at Brgy. Maysawa or Treasure Mountain.
- Bring sunscreen and anti-insect repellant.
- Respect the locals and other tourists.
- Buy essential ingredients and food before you check-in. There is no nearby store to buy goods, but you may ask your caretaker for assistance.
- The waves are unpredictable at times. Be extra careful especially when with kids.
- Do not litter inside and outside the property.
- No smoking inside the villa.
- Wash off the sand and remove excess water before entering the villa or teepee huts.
- Be mindful of your belongings.
- Keep the villa tidy and in order.
- Keep all doors and windows always closed especially when no one is around.
- Leave all items in the beach house as you found them upon arrival.
- Turn off the AC, lights, and other electrical appliances when not in use.
- Clear up after your pets inside and outside the property.
- Play music and sounds to an acceptable level from 10 PM to 8 AM.
- Inform the caretaker before leaving and surrender the keys.
- Have fun and keep safe.
How to Book at Balay Angkan
Step 1: Check availability on your preferred dates by sending a private message via Balay Angkan Facebook/Instagram or thru Airbnb at Balay Angkan Beachfront Villas Zambales.
Step 2: Once you have selected your preferred dates, you can book directly thru Airbnb to have it reserved for you or fill up the information that will be given to you by their representative like information on your name, number of guests, contact number, etc.
Step 3: Pay a 50% down payment to reserve the date and the remaining balance is to be paid 1 week before the check-in date. Please note that it is non-refundable but bookable.
Step 4: Send a copy of your deposit slip/transaction record through their Facebook/Instagram/Airbnb account and wait for their confirmation.
How to Get to Balay Angkan
To reach Balay Angkan, simply search for “Balay Angkan Beachfront Villa Zambales” on Google Maps or Waze. The easiest way to get there is by taking the SCTEX and exiting at Subic. From there, it’s about an hour and a half drive to Cabangan.
For those taking public transportation, take a bus from Manila to Iba, Zambales, and alight at Cabangan.
